A loan of $2,225 helped a member to buy animal feed for resale.

Manzooran's Group's story

Manzooran is 55 years old and sells buffalo milk to share the financial burden with her husband. She has four buffaloes whose milk she sells. She gets up early in the morning every day and milks her buffaloes. Her milk prices are very reasonable, and that’s why she has a good number of clients in the region.

Her husband operates an animal feed business. Because he is operating his business in the place where many people are involved in milk selling businesses, he makes good sales from his business.

Manzooran is the mother of three sons. The eldest one is a laborer while the other two are tailors by trade. Manzooran also gives full-time attention to her home and does her household responsibilities very well.

She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for the expansion of her husband’s business. With the loan, he will buy animal feed in larger quantity to be able to sell more and increase his profits. He has been operating this business for the past three years and Manzooran hopes that an investment will be a productive one for him.
