Aly Esmelia's story

Aly Esmelia is a member of the “San Miguel Arcángel II” community bank which is located in Ilave district, in El Collao province, in Puno department. She is 38 years old, lives with her partner, and has three children. She completed her high school studies.

Aly is a new member who recently joined Movimiento Manuela Ramos' "San Miguel Arcángel II" community bank. She is requesting a loan for 500 Peruvian soles to invest in her business. She sells lamb and alpaca meat and will buy three animals for their meat which she will then sell.

Aly's husband works in a private company. He is a haulage driver and provides electricity services. He also helps Aly in her business.

Aly's dream is to have more capital and to set up another business selling sneakers.

What Aly likes about her community bank are the savings and the loans from the internal account.
