A loan of $825 helped to buy swimsuits, towels, panamas, air beds, etc. for her business.

Narine's story

Narine is forty years old and she lives in Sevan. Narine is married and has two school-age daughters. When she graduated from Yerevan Teacher Training College, she worked as a kindergarten teacher for five years. Her husband works as an electrician.

Seven years ago, Narine opened her own business. She sells souvenirs, toys, office supplies, costume jewelery, etc. She rents her shop.

Sevan is a resort city, so in the summer sales are brisk--especially in goods to take to the beach. Therefore, Narine has decided to expand her business and to begin trade in beach accessories. In order to buy bathing suits, beach towels, hats, inflatable mattresses etc., Narine needs to take out a loan for 300,000 drams. This loan from Nor Horizon is Narine's fifth.
