A loan of $600 helped to buy sweets to sell.

Mercedez's story

Mrs. Mercedez, 47, is a single mother and has a son. She has been a street vendor for over 13 years in the omnibus terminal where she sells sweets, juices and tereré (a type of tea).

She has always been interested in sales from the time she was very young. With a lot of effort she is able to have all the comforts in her small home. With sales going well now she is thinking of other projects such as owning her own stall where she can sell more merchandise.

Mercedez defines herself as hard-working and a fighter. She is not afraid of work and is sure that with the help of the loan she will be able to meet her goals. She is requesting a loan to reach this goal and improve family's lifestyle.
