A loan of $1,225 helped a member to buy scrap.

Sarfraz's Group's story

Sarfraz is a housewife, staying at her home and doing her household responsibilities. She is very good administrator and manages the household expenses with full responsibility. She is the mother of four sons. Three of them do different kinds of work to contribute to the family financially while youngest one is 16 years old and studying in class 10.

Her husband deals in scrap. He provides scrap to different factories on order and to other scrap dealers. Sarfraz has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for the further expansion of her husband’s business. With the loan, he will buy scrap such as used papers, cartons, and plastic bottles in bulk to be able to fulfill the demand of his clients and earn good profit.

He has been operating this business for many years and Sarfraz hopes that an investment will be a productive one for him.
