A loan of $1,000 helped a member to purchase a calf.

Alisa's Group's story

Alisa is the leader of this group. She is 24, and married to a farmer. Together with her husband, she brings up a three year-old son. In order to earn money to meet their daily needs, the family cultivates agricultural products and breeds cattle. The family started to breed cattle four years ago with an initial investment of 45,000 soms.

Alisa applied for the loan because she needs additional funds for purchasing a calf to increase the cattle stock. In the near future, Alisa plans to enlarge a shed, where she keeps cattle.
