Abida's Group's story

Abida is a seamstress by trade. She does this work to earn a living for her family. She is very talented in her work. She can sew designer & non-designer dresses very easily. Her good work enables her to attract many customers and get more orders from them.

Her husband operates a gym center and a video game shop. Through his gym, he provides good quality health and fitness related equipment & machines to his clients and earns reasonable profits from his business. His video game shop also very famous with kids and earns him good profit every month.

Abida’s nephew also lives with her family and has an embroidery business. He operates his business from home and provides good quality services to his clients.

She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her nephew’s business. With the loan, he will buy embroidery material such as beads, colored thread, cloth and sketches in bulk to be able to fulfill the demand of his clients and increase his profits.

Abida is hopeful that by improving his business conditions, her nephew will be able to save some profit for his marriage in the near future. She is a regular loan user of Asasah and this is her 3rd loan application. In previous loan years, she has maintained a good credit behavior and never missed any meeting.
