A loan of $1,175 helped a member to buy embroidery material.

Perveen's Group's story

Perveen is 42 years old and married with two children: a son and a daughter. Her son operates a lathe machine while her daughter does embroidery. Her husband works in a private firm for a reasonable income. In order to help her husband financially, Perveen sews clothes for her neighboring clients and also does embroidery.

She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah to expand her embroidery business. With the loan, she will buy embroidery materials such as beads, colored thread and sketches in bulk quantity that will allow her to offer better quality services to her customers and increase her income.

She is very experienced in her business and has operated it for the past 10 years. She is confident that a loan investment will bring more profits to her and expand her business.
