Shazia's Group's story

Shazia has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah to improve her husband’s grocery store business. His store is located in the market and he sells different grocery items to his clients such as cooking oil, sugar, spices, etc. at reasonable rates. He started this business two years ago and it has worked well for him. With the loan, he will buy groceries in bulk quantity to sell in his store.

Shazia is a housewife, staying at her home and doing her household responsibilities. She is very active in her work and takes care of her family very well. She has given birth to four children. Three of them are studying while the youngest one is not of school-going age yet.

Shazia is confident that an investment will help her family to live a better financial life by improving her husband’s business.
