Maria Jackelin's story

María was born in the city of Quillabamba, in Cusco department (Peru). She is 40 years old, married, and works making sweaters from alpaca yarn. She has been in this business for five years and is doing very well thanks to the effort that she puts into her work. She has a small workshop in her home where she makes her sweaters.

On this occasion, María needs a loan to buy materials such as alpaca yarn. She is a responsible and hard-working person and, because of these personal qualities, her friends invited her to join Asociación Arariwa's "Unión Latina" community bank.
