A loan of $1,850 helped a member to purchase different types of clothing.

Cacbachuy Group's story

Sr. Santos Irineo is 26 years old, married, and has a sixth grade education. He has three children who are not yet in school. Santos sells new clothing and started out offering his goods in the town squares. He has 15 years of experience and receives the support of his wife, who handles the household chores.

Santos decided to organize a group so that he could request a loan for purchasing clothes in different sizes such as sweaters, scarves, trousers, sweatshirts, jackets, and other types of garments. The other members of this group engage in different business activities such as trade and livestock breeding. In the future, Santos hopes to see his business turn into a chain of clothing stores.
