Adim Din Group's story

In the photo are members of the “Adim Din” group. They are small scale businesswomen based in Magburaka, a town in northern Sierra Leone. They are seeking a loan of SLL 800,000 for each member in order to expand their respective businesses.

Kadiatu, 42 years old, is the leader of the group. A native of Matham village, she is married to a tailor and the couple has 5 children – 2 in primary school and 3 in secondary school.

Kadiatu has been in business for nearly 30 years; she currently sells cigarettes, soaps, biscuits, mints, etc. With the help of a Kiva loan, Kadiatu is going to buy the above mentioned items in bulk to add to her business.
