Armen's story

Armen was born in 1967 in the city of Kapan. After finishing school he started vocational school. He lives with his retired parents. His wife does not work. His elder son lives in Rossi, and the younger one studies in his second year at Kapan Architectural College.

Since 1991, Armen has traded in fruit and vegetables at Kapan city market. He buys agricultural products from nearby areas and villages, and also from Yerevan. Armen uses his income from trade to support the family and also to pay for his younger son’s education.

Armen needs a loan of 500,000 drams to buy vegetables and fruit (in particular cherries, sour cherries, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, etc.) for his business.

This is Armen’s ninth loan, and he has never been late with is payments.
