A loan of $375 helped to purchase supplies and beer in bulk in order to start a food sales business.

Alejandro's story

Alejandro is 56 years old. He owns his own home, located in the hamlet of Huaca Blanca, district of Tambogrande, an ordinary hamlet with a desire to stand-out.

Alejandro makes and sells chicha (a native Peruvian drink prepared with corn and jora- a type of corn). He also sells beer. He sells his products on weekends and other days of the week from his home. He has been engaged in this business for 8 years. He is known by the customers in the area and has a good relationship with them.

Alejandro is requesting this loan of 1000 nuevos soles from Edpyme Alternativa to buy beer and supplies to start preparing food for sale. In this way, he will be able to increase his weekly sales, serve his customers in less time, and so continue to increase his business.

Alejandro is a tenacious and hard-working person who is willing to make the effort to get ahead. For this reason, he wants his business to grow and become known in the area so that he will earn greater income and, in this way, attain a better quality of life.
