Clara Florinda's story

Señora Clara is a member of the community bank El Control and lives in the community of Punta Corral in the city of Cuenca. This city is known for its natural beauty and colonial history. Its people are kind and friendly, and maintain their culture and traditions.

Doña Clara is 45, and a single mother of 7 children aged 25, 23, 17, 13, 10, 7 and 4 years old. Her first three children are married and independent, her fourth child is in school and her next two children attend a primary school in the sector.

Señora Clara makes cakes, she started this activity 3 months ago and taught herself to have this ability. She is also dedicated to raising pigs.

This is her second loan made ​​through the community bank and she will invest it in buying chickens to start a business raising these birds.
