A loan of $650 helped to invest in buying merchandise.

Pabla's story

Pabla has already had a loan with KIVA which she paid off on time. She used it to invest in her paper store business.

She is asking for a loan to be able to buy merchandise such as notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons and various school items as well as a bigger copier. She doesn't have the capital she needs on her own to invest in her business. With the earnings she obtains from the sales in her school supplies business she will pay off the loan. The government pension she receives will be for family expenses and the expenses she has for her three children, since she is a widow.

She wants to invest in the business and have the merchandise before the school year starts. IN this way, her customers will find the school supplies their children need in her store.
