A loan of $375 helped to buy more clothes to meet her customer demand.

Heidy's story

23 year-old Heidy is a very kind and hard-working young woman who lives in her parents' home together with her husband, 23 year-old Jorge, and her two beloved children, 1 year-old Estefano and 4 year-old José, who she would like to provide with a better quality of life.

Heidy's clothes business is located in the Alana Sisley [informal] settlement. She sells jeans, tops and dresses for all ages and is one of the most popular saleswomen in her neighborhood. The new designs that she has in stock and the affordable prices that she provides her customers with have made her very well known.

What Heidy most enjoys about her work is advising her customers about which designs will suit them best. She has been in this business for two years and she considers the most difficult part of her work to be transporting her clothes from the city of Lima as this is where she gets the best designs. In the future, she hopes that her business will grow and that she will be able to improve her clothes store.

This will be Heidy's first loan from MFP and she hopes to receive the support of each and every one of you in developing her business. Heidy is a very well-liked member of her community bank as she is very cheerful. She will use the 1,000 Peruvian soles she has requested to buy more clothes so that she has more merchandise to sell.
