Asilkan's Group's story

Asilkan, 46, is the leader of this group. She is a widow with three kids and resides in the small coal mining town of Tashkomur. Her son is in the army while her daughters go to school and help Asilkan with running her business. She has been involved in livestock breeding and the selling of dried fruits for twenty years. She has been running these two businesses successfully, generating a monthly income of about $140. The purpose of the loan is the purchase of more livestock for further fattening and reselling.
