Sorom's story

Sorom, age 36, is married and resides in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She is a farmer, earning an income of $2 per day to help cover the family expenses. The family is also assisted by her husband, who is employed at a hotel in the city, earning an income of $3 per day.

Sorom is requesting a loan of $800 to purchase a tuk-tuk for her husband to start a new motorcycle transport business. This will be her second loan from CREDIT, a partner of Kiva.
