Migombani Group's story

Vicent, who is in his mid 30s, is married with three children who go to school. He has had a general store for six years now. He works from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily and is able to make a small monthly profit. This will be his fifth loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used his previous loans to expand the general store and for household expenses. He has paid back all his loans successfully and wants a loan to further expand the general store. His dream is to one day own a shop for motor spare parts.

He will share this loan with his loan group, Migombani, which has a total of 18 members who will hold each other accountable in paying back their loans.
