A loan of $1,100 helped to purchase more clothing so that she can fulfill her customers' orders.

Ingrid's story

Ingrid, age 30, is a friendly and hardworking woman. She lives in her own home with her two beloved children, Karen (age 12) and María (age 2), for whom she wants to provide a better quality of life. Ingrid is a loving mother who has a business selling clothes. Her customers place many orders and Ingrid always provides them with a smile because she knows that they are important in helping advance her business. Her method of working involves selling jackets, sweaters, and trousers through catalogs. What she enjoys most about her work is talking with her customers who make her laugh. Ingrid experiences joy in everything she does. She has been in this business for six years and what she likes least is walking in the intense heat every day in search of customers. Her wish is to have a store where she can sell more clothes and provide better service to her customers. She knows that she must work very hard in order to improve her way of life.

This will be her 13th loan with MFP. She hopes to have everyone’s support so that she can develop her business. Ingrid is well-respected in her Communal Bank because she always keeps the meetings in order. The loan of 3000 PEN that she requested will be used to buy more clothing so that she can offer a wider variety to her customers.
