A loan of $925 helped to buy more clothes.

Sonia's story

Sonia, 43, is a very kind, hard working woman. She lives in her own house with her husband, Alfonso, 41, and their two beloved children, Kassia, 11, and Kamila, 8, that she wants to provide a better quality of life for. For Sonia, selling clothes has been an activity that has helped her obtain income needed to support herself on her own. At the age of 18 she decided to leave her parents’ house and be independent. Today, she’s one of her neighborhood’s most sought after clothes vendors because the items of clothing she sells are very original. What she enjoys the most about her work is chatting with her neighbors and having a wide variety of merchandise. She’s been in this line of work for six years and considers the most difficult part of it having to walk all day seeking customers. Even though, she knows that that’s her work and she has to do it. She hopes in time to have a larger store where she can sell her merchandise more comfortably. This will be her 12th loan with MFP so she hopes to have all of your support. She is a very cheerful, responsible member of her communal bank. She will use the requested 2500 new sol loan to buy more clothes to increase the amount of merchandise she has available to sell.
