A loan of $725 helped to buy oil, inner tubes, and batteries.

Noemi's story

Noemí is a member of the “Las Mujeres Del 2000” (The Women of 2000) Communal Bank in the Calleria district in the Ucayali department. She is 47 years old, married, and has two children.

She has been working with loans from Manuela Ramos for four cycles. She invests all of it in buying more merchandise to stock her lubricant store. With her new loan for 2,000 soles she will buy three buckets of oil, six inner tubes, four batteries, and six tires.

She does not earn a lot of money, but it is something that helps her buy the things that she needs. Her husband is a public employee, and he also helps her tend to her business. She is happy because her business is improving every day.

She is grateful to Manuela Ramos for the talks, like how you should manage your business, that are given to the members by the staff.
