Ruth is their coordinator, she has been in business for the last 5 years. She has 2 children who are her primary motivation for success. She will use this loan to buy handicrafts and increase her range of stock. Issel has been selling handicrafts and costume jewellery for the last 2 years, and Rosaura sells clothing and cosmetics.

El grupo las Azucenas Blancas lo conforman Ruth, Issel y Rosaura tres mujeres trabajadoras y emprendedoras originarias de Niquinomo. Este grupo han tenido dos préstamos en Adim en los cuales han mostrado ser responsables y laboriosas.
La coordinadora es la señora Ruth quien se dedica al comercio de desde hace cinco años. Ella tiene dos hijos que son su mayor motivación para salir adelante. Con el crédito comprará artesanías para aumentar su mercadería.
La señora Issel desde hace 2 años comercializa artesanía y bisutería, y Rosaura se dedica al comercio de ropa y cosméticos.

About ADIM

Located in Central America, ADIM is a small microfinance institution with a strong social focus. In the saturated microfinance market of Nicaragua, ADIM stands out for its emphasis on the holistic development of women as well as its provision of responsible financial services. In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
