A loan of $1,700 helped a member to buy pigs to raise and sell.

Piscis De Agua Escondida Group's story

This group is called "Picis D. Agua Escondida" because it is located in the community of Agua Escondida, in the State of Mexico. The group has eight members and Ana is the group's president.

Ana is 22 years old. She has a high school level of education and her business is raising and fattening livestock. She started this business two years ago. She is requesting this loan to buy more pigs since pigs are commonly eaten in the village during fiestas. She would also like to sell their meat because she has many orders. She will invest in her business because she would like to expand it into neighboring communities. Ana raises and feeds her pigs from the time they are very young so that she can sell them for a good price in her region. She would like to use the profits she makes to finish building her house. She would also like to save up for her children's education and be able to offer them a better quality of life.

In this group: Ma Guadalupe, Ma De Los Angeles, Ana Isabel, Maria Angelica, Gloria, Emelia, Reynalda, Lourdes
