A loan of $3,775 helped a member to buy more perfumes to sell.


Reebok Group's story

Matagiri, who is in his mid 40s, is married. He has five children who are still going to school. He has been running a business of selling perfumes from door to door since 2000. He works from 8.30am to 8pm daily and he is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be Matagiri's 5th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to repair his house by repainting, put a month floor and better doors. He also bought more perfumes to sell and during that time he started a catering business. So he bought utensils for the catering business. He has paid back all his loans successfully and wishes for a loan to buy more perfumes to sell.

He will share this loan with his loan group, "Reebok", which has a total of 18 members who will hold each other accountable in paying back their loans.
