Cristo Y Nuestro Esfuerzo 2 & 5 Group's story

Yaquelin is the coordinator of her group, Cristo y Nuestro Esfuerzo 2 & 5 (Christ and Our Effort). She makes her home here in a simple structure with her husband and one of their 2 children. She says that her most important challenge is saving enough money to buy a house. In the meantime she plans to continue enjoying and attending Church.

Yaquelin is excited to be taking a 7th loan with Esperanza. She has had her business for around three and a half years, starting with a some money she saved. She plans to use this loan to invest in her business by buying clothes for sale in her house and by walking around in the community and selling it. She will save the profits, because through this business she wants to make her dream come true, which is to have her own house.

Yaquelin's group is located in the rural area surrounding La Romana, where the sugarcane harvest and tourist industry dominate the economy. She thanks all of you for your support!!!
