A loan of $550 helped to invest in buying basic grains, dairy products and candies to improve her sales.

Simona Del Carmen's story

Simona owns her own business. For more than twenty-four years she has sold clothes. She is currently investing in a grocery store because over all these years, she has traveled to other departments to sell part of her merchandise and she would like to concentrate her business solely in her grocery store. In the past, she used to sell candies but she has now put some of her capital in the store. Simona has achieved everything through her own hard work and effort and loans which she has received from Afodenic over fourteen loan cycles. She has always repaid her loans on time and in full since the instalments are affordable. She has been able to cover her personal expenses. Simona will use this new loan to buy three containers of oil, three 100lb bags of rice, sugar, beans, candies, Coca Cola and dairy products since she has a lot of demand for them. Her plans are to obtain customers so that her business can continue growing and offering more products.
