Usukhjargal's story

Mrs. Usukhjargal is 40 years old and lives with her husband, son and daughter in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. Her son is a university student and her daughter is 5 years old. Usukhjargal's husband has worked as a repairman at “Power Plant 3” since 2008.

Usukhjargal is self-employed and has 4 sewing machines. She sews and then sells summertime “deel” (traditional Mongolian clothing) and shirts and wintertime leather jackets. Usukhjargal is planning to use this loan to buy more cloth and textiles to produce more deels and traditional shirts in order to fulfill the increased demand for her products in the summer and to make more profit.
