A loan of $450 helped to buy a mirror and dyes.

Clara's story

Clara is a member of the Las Bellas Communal Bank in the Calleria district, Ucayali department. She is 50 years old, and she is a single mother with three children. She has a beauty salon where she cuts hair for women, men, and children. Her place is situated in a market in the area. She will use the new loan for 1,200 soles to buy one box of hair dye, one box of “Blondor” (lightening product), one liter of liquid for permanents, one hand-held hairdryer, two hair brushes, and one mirror. She lives with her two children, who are still in school. Lately she spends a lot of time at work in the afternoons. She returns home, and in the evenings she is able to share some time with her children. She is getting her children ahead thanks to her dedication and effort. Clara is happy because she knows that her children benefit from all of the efforts their mother makes. She is very grateful to Manuela Ramos for the loans she has received.
