A loan of $375 helped to buy balanced animal feed.

Miguel Abdon's story

Miguel, 36, lives with his wife and children in his own house which has electricity only. It is located in the rural area of the district of Tambogrande which belongs to the department of Piura. This area is active in agriculture, livestock farming and crafts.

For several years Miguel has been raising and selling sheep and chickens. His farmyard is situated behind his house. He gives the animals balanced feed and natural grains and once they are fully developed he sells them to other people living in the area or he takes them to market in Tambogrande. He uses the earnings to take care of family expenses.

He has requested a loan in the amount of 1,000 PEN through Edpyme Alternativa to buy balanced feed for his animals' development so he can offer them at a better price to customers. This will enable him to pay back the loan and improve his family's lifestyle. Miguel is a hard-working, responsible person who only wants the best for his children and for them to get an education.
