A loan of $725 helped to purchase merchandise for her grocery store.

Isabel's story

Isabel is a member of the Communal Bank “Fortaleza” (Strength). She is 67 years old and requesting a loan to invest in her business of selling flowers. Isabel is married and has seven adult children. The first loan she received was invested in her flower business, which has been in operation for 28 years.

The loan she is receiving now will be used to increase the inventory of her grocery store which she just opened three months ago. She opened the grocery store to be able to have more income, and it is for this reason that she sells not only flowers but other products as well. What Isabel enjoys most about FINCA Peru is the support she receives from her friends in her Communal Bank and the FINCA Peru staff. The training classes offered through FINCA Peru have helped her learn how to deal with her family and live peacefully with her children.

Her dreams incluD. seeing her children become professionals.
