A loan of $1,100 helped to purchase cooking utensils and to make improvements to her restaurant.

Rosa's story

Rosa is 34 years old and in a common-law marriage with Oscar, age 32. They have two beautiful daughters who are the most precious gifts she has in life and for whom she is willing to fight and provide the best life possible. Rosa and her family live in their own home in the central village of Natividad in the District of Pichari. Twenty years ago, when the country was enduring a social crisis, Rosa was 14 years old when she lost her parents. She had to quit school and work as a housekeeper in order to survive. As part of her job, she learned how to prepare food and now she uses that skill to earn an income. Rosa prepares different dishes and her customers do not hesitate to try at least one of them. She works every day and creates new dishes. Rosa provides her customers with friendly service in hopes that they will return soon.

This is her second loan with MFP. She hopes that everyone will support her so that she can continue preparing her food. Rosa is an enthusiastic woman and a spirited entrepreneur in her Communal Bank. Her loan of 3000 PEN will be used to buy cooking utensils and pay for improvements to the ambience of her restaurant.
