A loan of $325 helped to buy corn and coal to increase her tortilla sales. She will also buy a display case for displaying more products.

Maria De Los Santos's story

María set up her small business, with more than 15 years experience of working in sales. Over time, she has changed the products that she sells and made other improvements for the common good of her family. She currently owns a grocery store and a tortilla business. María has the moral and financial support of her husband and children who help her in making her sales. Through loans from Afodenic, she has managed to increase her inventory which has resulted in better sales as she now offers a variety of products. María would like to invest in buying three 100lb bags of corn, coal, paper bags and a glass display case to display more of her products. She has been buying products and keeping her sales merchandise in better, more hygienic conditions. This loan will be very helpful to María.
