A loan of $725 helped to buy merchandise.

Maria Violeta's story

María, 45, lives with her husband and three children in her own house in the district of Eten - Chiclayo. This area is known for its fishing activity and chicken sales. María's house has all the basic utilities.

For four years María has been selling groceries (daily consumption products such as: milk, rice, oil, sugar, toilet tissue, tuna, eggs, etc.) and beverages. Her store is set up in her home for comfort and security purposes. With the income she earns from product sales she tries to cover household expenses and improve her family's lifestyle.

In order to grow her business she has requested a loan in the amount of 2,000 PEN through Edpyme Alternativa to buy more merchandise so she can increase business and offer more products to customers.

María is a responsible, dedicated and hard-working person who is concerned about giving her children a more comfortable life.
