Ansorbeh Group's story

Salone Microfinance Trust (SMT), a partner of Kiva in Makeni in northern Sierra Leone is very pleased to present to you the members of the "Ansorbeh" Group. These are small scale entrepreneurs who have come to SMT/Kiva lenders to seek a loan of 500,000 SLL each in order to invest in their businesses.

Adama is the leader of this group. Adama is a 40-year-old woman. She is married to a driver, and they have five children. Adama sells groundnuts/peanuts and has been doing this business for five years now. With her share of this loan, Adama is going to buy bags of groundnuts in order to add to her business.
