Rukhsana's Group's story

Rukhsana is 42 years old, unmarried, and lives with her brother. She supports her brother financially by sewing clothes for her neighborhood clients. She is very skillful and receives regular orders every month. Her brother sells leather and also makes shoes. He sells leather to different factories which they use in making different leather products such as jackets, shoes etc. He sells shoes to different shops in the city. Rukhsana has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her brother. With the loan, he will buy leather in bulk which will help him make better quality shoes and earn more income. He has been operating this business for the past four years and Rukhsana is hopeful that an investment will help him improve his business conditions and increase his profits.
