A loan of $500 helped to buy oil, beans, rice, sugar and snacks.

Maria Elsy's story

María lives with her husband and has two children. She owns a grocery store business which she has run for 15 years. She works from 6.00am to 7.00pm as her business is located in her own home. She started the business through her own initiative.

María is requesting a loan to buy oil, beans, rice, sugar and snacks. This purchase will help her to strengthen her business as she will have in stock a good quantity of every one of the aforementioned products which are essential in her customers' households.

María's goal is to support her family and to have a source of income that allows her to cover most of her children's needs.
