A loan of $425 helped to buy blankets for embroidery and resale.

Josefa's story

Doña Josefa is married and responsible for four children: Juana Margarita, 17, José Luis, 14, Macario, 9, and Guadalupe, 5.

She sells embroidered blankets and has been in business for 15 years, making a good income which is increasing daily.

Her own creativity is what gave her the inspiration for this work since she used to help her mother when she was younger. But when she got married se had to stop because of lack of funds to buy materials.

Now, her greatest desire is to use the loan to have enough merchandise to embroider so she can carry on with her work.
