Lorenzo's story

Don Lorenzo lives in Chiapas, Mexico. He is married and has six children, four of whom are married. The remaining two continue to be his responsibility, Juan Carlos (age 12) and Susana (age 8). Both of them attend school.

For the past 15 years, Lorenzo has been making embroideries and says that he has done very well. He generates a good income and is now requesting a loan to help him purchase more materials since prices have increased this season.

Lorenzo says he started this business because he is a person with very limited resources. He needed income to support his family, so it was very important that he start this business and continue working.

His greatest wish is to move forward with his business. Having his own business allows him to provide for his family's future.
