Vanna's story

Mrs. Vanna K., age 41, has been married since 1985 and has four children, two sons and two daughters. She is currently in business buying mango and sapodilla from villagers and reselling them in the market. She has been in this business since 2005. In addition, she also buys and resells pork. Her husband has been a construction worker since 2000. Her four children are living under her custody. Her two sons are working as construction workers with her husband, and one daughter is working at a garment factory. The youngest daughter is attending kindergarten in the village.

Vanna is requesting a loan from MAXIMA for the first time, in the amount of $1,000. She will use this money to purchase mango and sapodilla from villagers to resell in the market, as well as filling the land around her house.
