A loan of $2,475 helped a member to buy winter clothes.

Unidas Para Alcanzar El Exito Group's story

Carmela has a really hard job. She sells clothes from market to market. This means that she has to walk a lot and put up with the inclemency of the weather. She has been working in this way for nearly two years. Her greatest driving force is her four children for whom she works. She started off selling for other people but they paid her very little so one day she decided to start working for herself since she had experience. This helped her a lot. Currently, her sales are good but she has to walk a lot in order to sell her products. What she would most like is to have a stable place where she can set herself up and sell her clothes. Another type of business that she would also like to own is a fruit stall. She hopes to achieve both of these goals. By saving up and working hard, she knows that she will manage this.

Carmela will use her loan to buy winter clothes. Her sales increase during this season and it will be very helpful. She is a member of the "Unidas para Alcanzar el Éxito" (United for Success) group.
