Piñas Coladas Group's story

This group is called "Piñas Coladas" and it is located in the State of Puebla, Mexico. The group has nine members. Martina is one of the members. She is 44 years old and has an elementary school level of education. She is married and has two children. Martina's business is selling shoes. She started her business three years ago since she had some financial problems as her husband didn't have any work. For this reason, she looked for opportunities and started her own small business.

Martina is requesting this loan to buy merchandise. Her customers are the general public. At the time of requesting this loan she is feeling enthusiastic because she will use her loan to buy more merchandise. She would like to use her loan to buy different brands of shoes, in different styles. She will also buy cheaper shoes that are affordable to her customers. Martina hopes that this loan will enable her to stock her business so that she and her family can enjoy a better quality of life. She hopes to provide her children with a better education since she would like to see them study for a degree.
