A loan of $2,125 helped a member to buy children's clothing and enlarge her little clothing business.

Duteraninkunga Rsz Group's story

Etienne is a small-scale merchant who was born in Rwanda and she is a member of the solidarity group DUTERANINKUNGA. He is married, 33 years old, and has five children between the ages of eight and 16. All go to school and he is not responsible for anyone else. He spent four years in secondary school. This is his first loan through ACB. He is going to use her loan to buy children's clothing to grow her business at the local market.

There is no expectation that he might not reimburse her loan. His strategy for growing his business is to work every day selling clothing, and increase his working hours to work from 8am to 10pm. His dream is to buy a motorcycle to help her with his business. For his family, he plans to pay the semester fees for his children.
