Neefe Group's story

This solidarity group was set up on 9th July 2002 and is made up of women who live in the same district and have the same activities (small trading businesses).

Nafissatou (on the right of the photo and raising her hand) is in charge of the group. She is 50 years old, married and mother to eight children. She has eleven other children in her care, entrusted to her by her relatives and neighbors.

She has been selling fruit and vegetables for a long time and masters her business and her customers well. This loan will allow her to increase her stock of goods, thereby satisfying better customer demand and reaping in more profit. The profits she makes will enable her to help her husband to improve the family's living conditions (food, health) and to increase her savings.
