A loan of $800 helped a member to purchase livestock.

Alyiman's Group's story

Alyiman, 59, is the leader of this group; unfortunately she is a widow. She has a son who is married and has three children. Alyiman’s son works in construction; his monthly salary is 5000 soms. He earns additional money by selling fruits and vegetables on the market.

In order to contribute money to the family budget, Alyiman breeds livestock and then resells it at a higher price after being fattened. In this way she earns 8000 soms per month. With money received from the loan Alyiman wants to increase the number of livestock. In the future she wants to save money to purchase a vehicle for her son and build a sauna near the house.
