A loan of $300 helped to invest in buying pigs and pig feed.

Carlos Enrique's story

Carlos is a 23 year-old father. He is single and has one dependent child. Carlos owns his own home which is located in the rural area of Lambayeque district. The only service his home receives is water. He lives in a small community of approximately 100 families.

Carlos' business is selling animals: mainly goats and sheep but also horses. He keeps the animals in an area behind his home and when they have reached a good level of development he offers them for sale to the traders who always visit his area. He carries out his business from home. Carlos learned this business from his parents and has been in this line of work for several years which means that he knows the job really well.

Carlos is requesting a loan for 800 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa to invest in buying pigs and balanced feed for them.

Carlos is an entrepreneurial and responsible person who would like to grow as a businessman and achieve a better quality of life.
