The Sainte Marie group was set up on the day the Banc Villageois was inaugurated, that is 1st June 2011. The 30 women who make up this group live in the same district and all have small trading activities.

Anne-Marie, who is on the right of the photo with her left hand raised, is in charge of the group. She is 46 years old, married and mother to three children; she has six other people in her care.

She has been a trader for more than ten years and has a store where she sells various products (rice, sugar, vegetable oil etc.) She has a second activity which is restauration.

This loan will allow her to build up the stock of goods in her shop in order to gain her customers' loyalty. With the income she makes, Anne Marie is planning to extend her shop with the aim of converting into a grocery store.

Le groupe Sainte Marie est créé le jour de l'inauguration du BV, le 01 juin 2011. Le 30 femmes qui composent ce groupe habitent le même quartier et font toutes du petit commerce.

Madame Anne Marie, à droite de la photo avec la main gauche levée, est la responsable du groupe. Elle est âgée de 46 ans, mariée, mère de trois enfants et elle a six autres personnes sous sa charge.

Elle est commerçante depuis plus de dix ans et elle possède une boutique où elle vend divers produits (riz, sucre, huile végétale etc). Elle fait comme seconde activité la restauration.

Ce prêt lui permettra de renforcer sa boutique en marchandises afin de mieux fidéliser sa clientèle.

Avec les bénéfices escomptés, Mme Anne Marie compte faire un agrandissement de sa boutique et dans le but de la transformer en épicerie.
