Amina, who is 47 years old, has eight children ranging in age from 13-27 years old, all in school except for the youngest. Her husband sells spare parts. Amina has been selling shoes since 2009, and her business is doing well, enabling her to feed her family and buy her children clothes. Amina is requesting a loan to buy more shoes to sell and hopes to use the additional profits to better feed her family.
