A loan of $3,200 helped a member to increase stock of clothes.

Zambezi Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 49 year old Jenipher (holding the yellow folder) from Masvingo. She is widowed with four children.

Jenipher runs a retail business selling clothing and footwear at the local flea market. The business has been in operation for 10 years and she employs two people. She says the main challenge she faces is limited capital. Jenipher has requested a loan of $300 to increase her stock of clothes. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve her family's quality of life as there will be more disposable income. In the future Jenipher plans to grow her business into a shop.
